Auburn-haired beauty Jennifer Korbin is using her Savvy.com pictorial to make a definitive statement to the world: “I’ve still got it!”

In August 2005, the Dallas, Texas native gave birth to a daughter.

“These photos are a ‘coming out’ kind of thing,” she said. “You kind of have to in this industry. People think that if you’ve had a baby and they haven’t seen you recently, they assume the worst has happened. I’m pretty good about rolling with the punches. I wanted a baby for so long so I had thought about all of this. Even if I didn’t make it back into shape, I was willing to do it.”

As the photos demonstrate, the woman who has posed nude for Mystique Magazine still has a body to die for.

You might have seen her on TV shows like “The West Wing,” “Suddenly Susan”, “Son Of The Beach,” and “Patients.” Jennifer was a co-host and spokes model for the UPN network and has guest-hosted E!’s “Wild On...”

She talked to Savvy about the challenges of motherhood and modeling, plus the weird world known as Los Angeles...

Savvy: When you got pregnant, were you worried that you might lose this career you’ve worked so hard to build?

Jennifer: I was prepared for whatever happened. I ended up able to do a lot of things that I haven’t been able to do since moving to L.A. When I was in Dallas, I did fairly conservative modeling jobs. Out here, it was just easier and faster to do the pin-up thing, so that’s how people viewed me. But once I got pregnant, I gained a new sort of credibility. I did a couple of maternity fashion shows and shoots. My daughter and I now do modeling jobs together.

Savvy: You’ve been so well-known as a swimsuit and glamour model. It had to be tough getting back to fighting shape.

Jennifer: I hit the gym two weeks after she was born. I joined a dance troupe six weeks after she was born. A lot of models don’t realize, but breast feeding tends to help you lose weight quickly.

Savvy: Now guys are going to be saying that to girls when they leave the maternity ward.

Jennifer: I had a lot of time to evaluate who I am and what I wanted to do when I was pregnant. I came to L.A. to do television. I did really well the first couple of years I was here, but then I got off track with a lot of modeling. That’s what I am going back to, particularly sitcoms. I love comedy. On my better days, I’ve been told I’m funny.

Savvy: Is it tough to be accepted as more than a trophy girl limited to very few spoken lines in acting jobs?

Jennifer: It is a waste of talent to limit an actor who is capable of more.

Savvy:
I guess that’s L.A. for ya.

Jennifer:
People are so competitive that it’s hard to know who your friends are. I would never put career above family, but here, people screw their best friend to get ahead in their careers. Maybe it is just my coming from Texas, but the majority of people I talk to agree that the dating scene sucks here.

Savvy:
I guess you get hit on a lot.

Jennifer:
Everybody in L.A. wants to ring their own bell. A lot of people just flat-out lie. I’ve been to the Playboy mansion, and everyone claims to be a producer. I know some guys who work in a mailroom but have cards made up saying they’re agents.

Savvy:
What about your own sex life. Are you old-fashioned or freaky?

Jennifer:
I am open-minded in bed and certainly don’t judge anybody for what they do. I’ve kind of done it all – not, like, bestiality – but I do what I want.

Savvy:
Ever been with a woman?

Jennifer:
Yeah, definitely. It is completely different (than being with a man). For me to be satisfied, I have to be with a man. But it certainly adds something if you’re attracted to a woman and there’s the three of you. It’s very hard to figure out a way to do it where everybody enjoys themselves and feels fun. I haven’t done threesomes regularly, but I have a couple of times.

Savvy:
So the oral part doesn’t do the trick for you?

Jennifer:
In my own experience, I get it too often. Guys hear women say we want to receive more oral sex and they think, “Oh God, this is what I have to do to please a woman.” I guess I’m just more old-fashioned. I do enjoy it, but as more of a foreplay kind of thing.

Savvy:
Are you dominant or submissive in the sack?

Jennifer:
I like to be taken. I’m pretty much in control of every other aspect of my life.

Savvy:
Ever had sex in a public place?

Jennifer:
A movie theater. Some awful vampire movie.

Savvy:
I thought it might have been a porn theater. I’ve read that some couples get off on having an audience.

Jennifer:
No, but I enjoy porn privately. If you get into the psychology of the business aspect of it, porn is disgusting. In terms of watching it, I know men are very visual. I’m probably more visual than most women, but it definitely works for me. There’s certain things I don’t really necessarily have to see, but I don’t know that there’s anything that grosses me out.

Savvy:
A lot of people fantasize about having sex with you. Who do you think of?

Jennifer:
Matthew McCoughney. (Laughs) Good old Texas boy.

Savvy:
You know he’s newly available.

Jennifer:
Isn’t he dating Penelope Cruz?

Savvy:
Nope, they just broke up.

Jennifer:
(Giggles) He lives in the Hollywood Hills and so do I.

Savvy:
Go jogging in your panties by his house.

Jennifer:
I’m not going to stalk the man!

Savvy:
Have you ever had any stalkers or strange fans?

Jennifer:
I’ve had money offered to me, gifts sent to me, proposals of marriage, poetry written to me. One guy had my likeness tattooed on his arm. It is flattering to a point, but it can get weird.

Savvy:
How did you learn about sex?

Jennifer:
My whole sexual development was jaded. My mother died when I was nearly 3, and my two brothers and my dad wanted to keep me a little girl for a long time. I really had to work hard to learn about sex. My brothers were 10 years older than me. They kept Cheryl Tieg’s poster and even Penthouse centerfolds taped to the walls. My dad was single for a while. Sex was all around me, but I didn’t know the details. My dad had me in therapy when I was 9 or 10, and I asked the therapist to explain the birds and the bees to me. She used medical terminology that I still have not heard to this day. I really kind of found out about sex through friends.

Savvy:
You list as a turn-on police officers.

Jennifer:
I used to be married to one. It’s not just cops, all men of power. I think most women still want to feel protected. Even if you are a feminist and would never admit needing a man around, you feel better walking down the street with a man, whether he’s gay or straight. I went to Costa Rica by myself after graduating college and met two guys, a Marine and a Navy guy. Officials want you to stay on the resort, but we rented a jeep and ventured out. We found this rinky dink bar out on the coast. That was probably the funnest thing I’ve ever done.

Savvy:
You mentioned you are in a dance group?

Jennifer:
I did a skit on “The Man Show” with Rachel Sterling. I’m in a group with her now called the Sugar Blush Beauties. It’s similar in concept to The Pussycat Dolls except we’re very rock n’ roll-based. We have five girls and there are a couple of solo acts. We also have a DJ. So you don’t have, like, Purrfect Angels, which has about 40 girls. You sort of get to know each individual girl. It’s not anonymous people either. Every girl has made a name for herself in one aspect or another.

Savvy:
Cool. I also understand you are an animal rights activist. Any plans to pose naked for anti-fur ads?

Jennifer:
I’ve done a lot of volunteer work for shelters, and I only adopt animals from no-kill shelters. I work with IDA (In Defense of Animals). We do a lot of writing, protesting, education, that sort of thing. The members include a broader spectrum than PETA. We don’t just do protests or throw blood on people. We don’t make spectacles of ourselves. We try to take a more intelligent approach instead of just making a big scene.

Savvy:
Have you ever wished a dog would maul some cheating boyfriend?

Jennifer:
For the most part, men I’ve had relationships with have been very
faithful, except for one when I was in high school.

Savvy:
Is there anything a woman should do to keep her man from cheating?

Jennifer:
There’s nothing a woman can do to make her man not stray. It has to do with the man and nothing to do with the woman. It’s not that the woman isn’t beautiful or smart enough, the guy just has a problem. Just look at Halle Berry and Jennifer Aniston.

Savvy:
Good point. Well, great talking with you. Best of luck in this exciting new stage of your career.

Jennifer:
Thanks!
