Look! Up in the Sky! It’s a Bird! It’s a Plane! It’s… a Lingerie Model? Indeed.

Model Jessica Byrd made quite an impression standing in the window of
Rick Hughes’ studio overlooking Woodruff Park in downtown Atlanta. A large crowd of mostly men assembled in the park within moments of seeing Jessica’s bra and panties-clad figure pressed against the large glass. When she turned to wave to them, revealing the face was as hot as her 34C-25-34 body, she could almost hear the chorus of men below saying “Daaaaammmmnnnn!!!”

One might have thought Atlanta was burning once again.

For her part, Jessica, 21, is used to driving men to such distraction. A senior at the University of Georgia in Athens, she’s likely caused more than one classmate to fail a test, but we don’t hear any bulldogs complaining about it.

Jessica has been modeling for about four years, doing calendars, CD covers and promotional work. A sure highlight was winning a nine-girl modeling competition in Cancun, Mexico called “Best of the Best 2”, sponsored by Onemodelplace.com.

“Definitely the coolest thing I’ve done has been a reality TV show,” she said. “I won a free trip to Nassau and a contract with a New York company. It was $2,500 and makeup contract. It was very, very tough competition.”

She gave Savvy.com her thoughts on romance, sex and making a spectacle in her underwear…

Savvy: You are a pretty bold girl standing in that window and putting on a show for the sake of Rick’s art.

Jessica: I think it is fun to do things that scare me, then I want to do them again.

Savvy: What’s the riskiest thing you’ve ever done?

Jessica: Probably when I flew in a four-seater Cessna. We weren’t clear to fly but we did anyway. I was so scared I didn’t speak for a couple of hours. It was not a very good choice, but we landed safely. I’ve never really been super-wild. My first boyfriend, when I was 16, he was a lot older than I was, and I started lying, sneaking out of the house to go to parties. I had a fake I.D. when I was 17. I definitely changed around him.

Savvy: Interesting. But back to your body for a second. Have you always been so comfortable showing it off in skimpy outfits?

Jessica: I’ve gotten more comfortable with showing my body over the years.

Savvy: And does your thrill-seeking side have any thoughts on great sex?

Jessica: It is all about connecting with a person. You don’t hold anything back when you are relaxed.

Savvy: Relaxed as in taking your time?

Jessica: Right, take your time and pay attention. I know everyone wants instant gratification, but guys should pay attention to the whole body and relax a bit.

Savvy: I know you are a classy, educated lady, but I bet you have a fun, freaky side. You seem so confident in how you carry yourself.

Jessica: Self-confidence is lacking in a lot of people, and it affects areas of their lives, especially sexually. I have my own confidence issues, but when we just sit back and relax, we let go of the things we worry about. People should feel open enough to talk about what they want.

Savvy: And what do YOU want?

Jessica: (Nervous laugh) Well, everyone has their fantasies. Mine involve going to extravagant places. I love to travel to places that are sexy and beautiful.

Savvy: Sexy places? Do you believe women should be able behave like guys, go to some strange place and have sex with as many good looking strangers as possible?

Jessica: If you want someone to respect you, don’t give them exactly what they want. If you do that, they won’t be there to find out the real person you are later.
