Seeing Morgan Kennedy for the first time can leave a man speechless. This curvy blonde reminded the Savvy editors of Brooke Banx, another beauty who transformed into a goddess in front of our cameras.

She said her looks haven’t always been an asset.

“Attention can be good,” she said. “It just has to be positive attention. Being a busty blonde isn’t always a great first impression because of the stereotype. Every time someone gets to know me, they say they thought I would be something else. My family had a pool installed when we lived in Raleigh. My father always said he regretted getting it put in because whenever I came over to swim, our neighbor’s sons would come outside and say they were ‘waiting on friends’. I didn’t get to use the pool much because my father always made me go inside to put clothes on.”

Now the boys of the world can stare all they want at her gorgeous face and body. Look for Morgan to grow more popular in the modeling world. Despite her poised, polished appearance, she has only been posing since February 2006.

“A photographer named Greg Kalen out of Ohio asked me to do a photo shoot and the ball just rolled from there. I don’t have an exclusive agent, so most of my work has been from direct bookings. I’m only now finding out that is unusual for the industry,” she said.

Savvy paired Morgan with photographer Rick Hughes for some sexy shots in a high-rise penthouse. Afterward, Morgan talked to Savvy about men, modeling and relationships...

Savvy:
It’s almost Christmastime and I can’t believe I didn’t bring the mistletoe!

Morgan: (Laughs) I’ll be sure to keep some in my bag for next time! I can’t wait to see the photos we did for Savvy! I am pumped about being able to say I shot with you guys! All of the Savvy Girls are beautiful.

Savvy: You fit in perfectly.

Morgan: Thank you. I really enjoyed shooting with Rick. He made me feel extremely comfortable. It definitely had something to do with Jodi the make-up artist too. She made me feel flawless!

Savvy: You mean you aren’t? (Laughs) Can I get one just like you under my tree on Christmas morning?

Morgan: (Laughs) That’s sweet. Everyone involved in the Savvy shoot was really happy to be there, so there was a ton of positive energy. I love being able to goof off with everyone. I’ve got a sarcastic sense of humor and so did a few others so it was non-stop joking. Lots of fun.

Savvy: Every guy in the world now wants to know the answer to one question... Are you available?

Morgan: I am currently “dating”. I have my heart leaning towards one particular person, but I’m still learning about him before I decide to give him all of me. I feel that people rush into relationships before getting to know one another. I don’t want to do that.

Savvy: So you have to be “in love” to have sex with someone?

Morgan: There have to be extreme emotions involved.

Savvy: Is extreme awe over seeing you naked sufficient? (Laughs) Just kidding.

Morgan: I’m a little biased on “love” because the meaning has changed so much to me over the years. I’m not a one-night-stand kind of girl. You definitely have to work harder than you want and expect to if you’re going to lie next to me. Most guys give up.

Savvy: If a guy buys you flowers, do you fall in love or roll your eyes?

Morgan: I love romantic gestures. I’m a total sucker for that stuff. The cheesier the better. (Laughs) Flowers for no reason, candles, handwritten letters, and a simple scribbled “I Love You” are sufficient. Anything with a little time involved telling me I was thought of.

Savvy: Could you marry a guy who maybe wasn’t very good in bed, assuming he could make you laugh and worshipped the ground you walk on?

Morgan: Probably not. A physical relationship is just as important to me as an emotional one. They both have to be there for marriage.

Savvy: Couldn’t you teach him some tricks?

Morgan: Well, I am young myself. I’m still learning the ropes. Great sex is about the connection. It is the closest you can be to any person – emotionally and physically. I’m always attracted to men with a sense of humor and closeness to their mother. I like men who give really good hugs that aren’t rushed.

Savvy: Emotional bonding is important to you.

Morgan: The people in my life have a huge impact on it. Everything else is minor. I recently decided to only let myself have relationships with people who affect me positively. You know, people who make me a better person just by being around them.

Savvy: Glad I could help you out with that.

Morgan: Guys need to shower their women with positive attention. If you don’t give it to her, she will find someone who will that deserves her.

Savvy: You are buddies with Blakeley Shae, another Charlotte model who will be appearing next week. You’re also friends with Shana Prevette, a former Savvy “Is She Hot?” contest winner and fellow North Carolina resident.

Morgan: I actually just met Shana at the old Versace mansion in Miami after talking to her on the Internet for months. Blakely and I are a great pair to go out with. We are both extremely friendly and aren’t weird about other girls. We both enjoy making new friends. She’s the super-sweet Southern brunette who is a little timid, and I’m the sweet but feisty blonde.

Savvy: Any interesting experiences in your short time as a model?

Morgan: There was one photographer who made me feel extremely uncomfortable, but nothing extreme. We were in a very public place, but I still felt awkward because the vocabulary he used to describe body parts was unprofessional. I’m a strong believer in only doing something if you’re having fun, so I’m not-at-all the type to be a prude, but he took it a step too far. I left and didn’t get paid.

Savvy: Speaking of body parts, are they real?

Morgan: My breasts? They look real, don’t they?

Savvy: Would you ever show them off without fabric covering them?

Morgan: Women have beautiful bodies. Women who choose to bare everything are extremely confident. I have not reached that point yet. Right now, I’m doing the typical swimwear and lingerie shots, but I haven’t done any implieds or nude photos. I guess that will be a TBD, depending on my ability and if the compensation is worth revealing it.

Savvy: Oh, so you haven’t ruled out doing something like Mystique or Playboy?

Morgan: Mmm. I haven’t had an offer that’s enticed me to consider. Depending on when the offer comes and where I am at that point in my modeling career will determine the outcome.

Savvy: Have you always dreamed of modeling or is this just a way to earn extra cash?

Morgan: I always wanted to be a kindergarten teacher. As I got older, that changed a few times, and now I’m in the real estate field. I enjoy that career, but I accidentally fell into modeling. It is something I would love to keep doing if the opportunity continues. The only goal I have right now is to be happy and to do everything I can to achieve happiness daily.

Savvy: How did you dad, a retired Army guy, react when his little girl got so hot-looking and started modeling?

Morgan: He is happy with anything I do. I don’t think he does more than glance at my photos, though. I think he feels like it’s weird.

Savvy: You wisely chose an alias to model under. Does the Morgan Kennedy venture capital group appreciate the free advertising you’re giving them?

Morgan: (Laughs) I’m sure their clients get a little startled when Googling the name. No, we are not affiliated. I just always wanted to be a Kennedy. They have great genes.

Savvy: What’s been the highlight of your modeling so far?

Morgan: Appearing in Savvy, of course! Other than Savvy, I’ll always feel the highlight was the very first published piece on me. It was for BCS Labs out of Texas. Being a part of all their marketing material while being brand new in the industry made me feel really good.

Savvy: Do people get the impression that you are promiscuous or oversexed from your sexy pictures?

Morgan: I definitely have become more aware that I look different than who I am. What you see isn’t what you get. A friend has been getting me interested in all sorts of things I never imagined myself doing.

Savvy: Such as?

Morgan: I recently became obsessed with golf. I’m terrible, but I really enjoy the game. I’ve got lessons to ski and snowboard in January. I’ll have to let you know how that goes.

Savvy: So you like being outdoors?

Morgan: Yes, especially when it’s snowing. I love the way it feels when it falls on your skin. I’ve always wanted to be able to go outside and play in the snow while I’m naked, but I haven’t found a spot remote enough yet.

Savvy: You can come over to my house and roll around naked in the snow any time you want, darlin’!

Morgan: (Laughs)
