Two great icons of sexual power are the Playboy Playmate and the St. Pauli Girl.
Stacy Marie Fuson knows what it feels like to wear both suits – or lack thereof – as Miss February 1999 and as the current spokes model for St. Pauli Beer. With her blonde hair and innocent looks, she is touring the country to promote the company’s trademark lager, which comes in a distinctive green bottle with a happy barmaid grasping beer mugs.
A native of Tacoma, Washington, Stacy uses her 5’9” height and curvaceous 34C-24-35 body to model for Cosmopolitan, Men’s Fitness, W magazine, Shape, Tommy Hilfiger and others.
She’s also a serious actress, appearing in a TV series called “The Sullivan Sisters” and films such as “Shallow Hal”, “American Pie”, “Confessions of a Dangerous Mind”, and the upcoming “Room 6”, a horror pic with Jerry O’Connell and Christine Taylor.
Her mother got Stacy into modeling when she was 14.
“I went to Japan during my sophomore year of high school to model, but it turned out to be a bad experience,” she recalled.
She reached Los Angeles as a finalist for Teen Magazine’s Great Model Search, finishing in third place. As soon as she graduated, she headed to L.A. and began working as a model right away.
Savvy asked Stacy to tell us a little more about herself…
Savvy: How did you get involved with Playboy?
Stacy: A few months after being in L.A., a Playmate approached me and told me that I should try out for Playboy. At first, I was, like, “No way! Are you crazy?!”
Stacy: At the time, I had a boyfriend that lived in Paris so I spent some time over there and decided that nudity, especially in Europe, was not a big deal. I returned to L.A. and decided “What the heck! I’ll give it a try.”
Savvy: Were you nervous? Aroused? During the photo shoot, I mean.
Stacy: It’s hard to remember because I have not posed nude since my pictorial, but the Playboy people make you feel so comfortable during the shoots. I’m doing so many other things like St. Pauli Girl now.
Stacy: I wouldn’t trade my Playboy experience for anything. It has brought me so many other things that I can’t even tell you. A lot of jobs came from that like the St. Pauli job. I auditioned for it and got lucky.
Savvy: What does the St. Pauli girl represent?
Stacy: She’s a classy girl but still sexy. A little of both. She’s the girl next door. Exciting.
Savvy: Speaking of exciting girls next door, Jen Walcott, who appeared in Savvy a few months ago, told me she’s been to the Playboy mansion so many times that she doesn’t even notice when two chicks make out anymore!
Stacy: Jennifer is my best friend. We’re inseparable. Yeah, seeing things at the mansion is not a big deal to me anymore. You get immune and don’t notice it anymore.
Savvy: Tell Hef I am available to test that hypothesis. Are all of the stories true or just legends?
Stacy: Oh yeah, people definitely have sex in the Grotto, especially at parties. It isn’t an everyday occurrence. People think that happens there all the time, but it’s just at parties.
Stacy: I met Britney Spears there, George Clooney, and Cameron Diaz, quite a bit of celebrities since they always go there.
Stacy: I am a mix of old-fashioned and getting crazy at other times. People definitely assume that because I’ve been in Playboy, I have to be promiscuous or wild. They absolutely do. I’m very open-minded but old-fashioned in the sense that I like to be treated well and all that stuff. I am not with a lot of guys, but the guy I’m with at the time is a lucky guy.
Savvy: What’s the wildest place you’ve ever had sex?
Stacy: In an alley actually, as weird as that sounds.
Stacy: We walked up to this restaurant. We were walking home and, yeah, it just happened in an alley.
Stacy: I guess. I don’t know what was into me.
Stacy: Someone probably could have seen us. I didn’t really care though.
Stacy: Exactly. I think that was the first time I had sex in public.
Savvy: The first time?… Are you currently looking for anyone to get your freaky on with?
Stacy: I asked a guy out recently. He told me he never thought of asking for my number because he didn’t think he stood a chance with me. So he was happy that I asked for his number. We’re still kind of seeing each other.
Savvy: Do you prefer to date different guys at the same time or just one at a time?
Stacy: I would prefer a relationship. I was in a relationship for five years, and it was great. I’m not really the girl who plays the field.
Savvy: So I guess you don’t have many one-night stands.
Stacy: I don’t judge other people, but I choose not to do it. It may be fun, but it’s dangerous.
Savvy: Pretty standard for Los Angeles, though, isn’t it?
Stacy: It is terrible to meet men in L.A.! A lot of guys are full of themselves out here. One of the first things I noticed was all of the fake people.
Stacy: Guys who just know who they are. I don’t like guys who are really annoying like drunk and obnoxious. The politeness thing really gets me.
Savvy: What about drunk but polite? When does a guy go from being nice to becoming boring?
Stacy: If he doesn’t talk, I would assume he’s boring. But if he talks and is really pleasant to be around, then he’s just a nice guy.
Savvy: On the opposite side of nice, have you ever caught a guy lying about sleeping with you to impress his buddies?
Stacy: A guy who lied about sleeping with me? I don’t know the answer to that. I wonder if they have. If they did, I would like to know about it.
Savvy: What could a guy do to actually win your heart and a spot next to you in bed?
Stacy: Food is definitely one way to my heart. A massage and a walk on the beach are great. Stuff like that.
Stacy: Yeah, a good massage relaxes me. I’m always on the go. A massage just kind of brings me back down to normal. I love getting massages from guys, but I can give massages to guys too. I love touching a man’s stomach and his chest.
Savvy: Feel free to start rubbing your hands all over mine any time. Where’s that tingly spot on your body where you like to be touched?
Stacy: I like to be kissed on the neck, so more kissing, guys!
Savvy: What else can guys do to improve the quality of sex for the girl? Since you are a monogamy girl, how can a couple avoid getting bored?
Stacy: I think trying it in different places, using different positions. Bring toys to bed.
Stacy: I don’t really enjoy porn. I have enough fun with boyfriends that I don’t need it. If you need porn then you probably aren’t happy with your sex life. But if a couple has been together a long time, that might help them spice things up.
Savvy: What if your guy stares at another girl crossing the street? Do you scratch his eyes out and stomp on his penis?
Stacy: I don’t really get jealous. It took me several years to realize if there’s a hot looking girl walking by and I notice her myself, I can’t get mad at my boyfriend for looking at her. It’s human nature.
Savvy: Human nature! That’s the excuse I’ll give from now on. What’s your preference: a beanie weenie or a foot-long sausage?
Stacy: Size doesn’t matter to me. A lot of girls say that it does, but I don’t think it does.
Savvy: You talked about people not being happy with their sex lives. We have a lot of females who read Savvy too. For their benefit, how can they get their guys to open up to what they want?
Stacy: Too many women are definitely repressed. If they’re not happy in bed, they should talk to their boyfriends or husbands about it if they want to try something. Talk him into it.
Savvy: And if a guy feels the same…? Should he just surprise her with something new and kinky? Chains and whips anyone?
Stacy: Ask her first because you don’t want to make her mad. If that happens then you aren’t getting any, which is even worse.
Savvy:What’s the longest you’ve gone without sex since losing your virginity?
Savvy: Were you tempted to switch teams just for the sake of relieving stress?
Stacy: I haven’t been with a woman. I kissed a girl once and that’s it. Nothing further than that.
Savvy: So what do you fantasize about when you’re nearing climax? Brad Pitt? Some guy you know? Those curtains you saw on sale?
Stacy: Usually I think about my boyfriend at the time.
Savvy: Well, that’s convenient since you don’t have to close your eyes. Aside from sex, what do you do for recreation?
Stacy: I’m very athletic. I like rollerblading, swimming, volleyball, baseball, basketball, snowboarding, bowling, yoga, aerobics, boxing, horseback riding, mountain biking and jet skiing.
Savvy: No wonder you look so hot. What would you be doing right now if you weren’t a successful actress and model?
Stacy: I’d definitely be in school. I want to go to school, but there’s no time right now. I would probably be a nurse or start my own business.
Savvy: And how far do you plan to take your career in entertainment?
Stacy: I don’t know. I haven’t quite figured that one out. I just want to enjoy the ride while I can. It will be time to move on to something else eventually.
Savvy: Let’s hope you stick around for a long, long time.
